The owner of a Chucky
doll was arrested in Mexico last week after he used the “demon doll” to
terrorize people in a northern Mexican city.
Carlos “N” was
allegedly high on drugs when he pointed a knife-wielding Chucky at Monclova
citizens in a bizarre incident on Sept 11.
“He put the doll in
their faces and was scaring people, it is an offense, and for this reason he
was arrested,” police said.
The man and his doll
were handcuffed and brought to the police precinct where officers took their
mug shots.
But one of the officers
faced harsh criticism for processing the doll like a human being which his
superior considered as not serious from him.
“Some journalists were jokingly telling him to pose with the doll, to put handcuffs on it. He must take his job and the regulations seriously, not play those games,” said former director of the Monclova Police, Juan Raul Alcocer.
