Teacher forces students to beat classmate

Authorities in Muzaffarnagar busted a private school in the village of Khubbapur on Sunday after a 7-year-old kid was assaulted there earlier in the week on the teacher's orders.

Tripta Tyagi, the boy's instructor, is accused of making offensive remarks about "Mohammedan children" and the boy's religion while requesting that other pupils hit him "hard." According to the boy's family, he was physically assaulted because of a math error.

Tyagi has been charged with violating IPC sections 504  (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 323 (causing hurt), which relate to the incident that happened on Thursday at Neha Public School, which he also runs.

A video of the incident went viral, sparking demands for the instructor and the school to be held accountable. In the video, Tyagi can be heard ordering the other students to bash the child.

Shubham Shukla, Basic Education Officer, stated: “We have conducted an inquiry. We found that the school doesn’t meet the criteria of the department. We have issued a notice to the school to seal it and authorities are conducting an investigation to take further action. Notice has also been served to the teacher for hitting the child.”
